THE INTERIOR DESIGN SHOW

January 18 - 21, 2024

Nike's family and friends, including her siblings author and musician Doyin Onile and product designer Olu Onile will officially launch the NO-AD Foundation on January 18, 2024, at the opening of the Interior Design Show (IDS) Toronto.

Inspired by Nike’s design ethos of joy, wellness and beauty in the home, designers and HGTV personalities Tommy Smythe, Danielle Nicholas Bryk and Samantha Pynn will create a booth for the NO-AD Foundation at IDS Toronto.

On opening night, a celebration at the booth will mark the launch of the NO-AD Foundation, and will include a musical performance of African indigenous drumming, dancing and chanting arranged by foundation members Shereen Ashman, Lianne Hannaway and Karlyn Percil.

Throughout the three-day event, members of the design community will continue to be present at the booth. Notable attendees include Tracy Moore, host of Cityline, who is scheduled to attend on opening night; architect Camille Mitchell, Chair of Black Architects and Interior Designers Association; Sebastian Clovis and Ayanna Augustine of HGTV; and Arren Williams of Cityline and Style at Home.

At the booth, show attendees will learn about Nike’s legacy and the NOAD Foundation’s mission, which is to support diverse Canadian artists and creatives as they embark on their careers.

NOAD’s presence at IDS Toronto 2024 exemplifies a collective commitment to celebrating Nike Onile's enduring influence on design while laying the groundwork for a vibrant and inclusive future for emerging talents in the Canadian creative landscape.
